I head the International Department within Buckles Solicitors.
I qualified as Spanish Solicitor with the equivalent to the Law Society in Alicante in 1994. I have been practising in the UK since 2007 and qualified as an English Solicitor in 2011, acting for British clients with an interest in Spain and for Spanish Banks, companies and individuals in relation to commercial and litigation enforcement proceedings in the UK.
I hold a PhD in Spanish Tax and specialise in tax, wealth management and litigation, particularly in double taxation issues and cross border litigation cases and their enforcement, with a deep knowledge of International Private Law issues.
I have been acting for two major Spanish Banks in relation to cross border debt recovery and insolvency matters since 2008.
I have been taking part as speaker in International Law Congresses in Spain and have written several articles about International taxation.

I have been dealing with multi-million property transactions and administration of estates with assets in several countries. I have also been acting for clients in complex property litigation matters and advising Spanish and British Banks in property and lending transactions. I have successfully conducted negotiation processes in which one of the parties was either a Spanish Bank or a property developer. I have also advised and liaised with other UK solicitors and accountants in relation to Inheritance Tax and wealth preservation issues. I am currently acting for two major Spanish Banks in relation to debt recovery and insolvency matters.
