Julia studied law at Birmingham University before beginning her legal training at DLA Piper in Sheffield. There she spent 12 years working with national and international businesses and government departments, specialising in managing the employee issues that surround business restructure.An experienced tribunal advocate with particular expertise in discrimination issues, Julia acted for a wide variety of manufacturing businesses in her next role as a legal advisor at the EEF, based in South Yorkshire. Returning to the West Midlands, Julia spent the past seven years as a Senior Associate at George Green LLP. There she supported owners, managers and manufacturing businesses with major reorganisations, including the management of industrial relations and successfully defending her clients in Employment Tribunals.Julia joined FBC Manby Bowdler as a Partner in our Employment Team in July 2016.
