Kayleigh is a trainee solicitor at JMW Solicitors but she joined JMW in 2012 as a Paralegal assisting the Court of Protection team, which is an area of law she is passionate about. Her role includes planning budgets, considering investments and property purchases, managing state benefits and benefit applications; liaising with clients and carers to identify need. She is responsible for making applications to the Court of Protection including Statutory Will applications.
Previously Kayleigh has held a number of paralegal roles at Irwin Mitchell where she worked for over 4 years; 3 of which in their Court of Protection team, where she assisted with the financial management for clients who lacked capacity. She had conduct of a caseload while assisting solicitors in the team.
She has continued to develop her knowledge in Mental Capacity Law, managing the affairs of vulnerable people and supporting the litigation process.
