Jane qualified as a Solicitor in 2015. Her career in law commenced in 2010 when she joined her firm as a paralegal working within the Clinical Negligence team. She began her training contract in 2013 qualifying into the corporate team. Jane’s expertise covers a vast range of corporate law issues including drafting shareholder agreements; preparing bespoke articles of associations and finance / security agreements; advising on peer to peer lending platforms; advising on the sale/purchase of company assets and shares; and incorporating companies limited by shares and by guarantee. Jane has advised a variety of clients in relation including on the purchase of a franchised dance school and also advised on the sale of a freight company and a technology company. She regularly assists senior members of the team on large million pound deals including advising a telecommunications firm on a secondary buy-out and advising a business on their application to become FCA regulated.

Jane graduated from Lancaster University with a Business Studies degree and then went on to complete a one year conversion course to law. Jane then went on to completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law in Chester.
Following graduation worked for LMS Direct Conveyancing and Stephensons Solicitors LLP gaining valuable experience as a paralegal. Jane then joined JMW as a paralegal in 2010 before commencing her training contract in 2013.
Jane joined the Corporate team in March 2015 during her last seat as a trainee solicitor and went onto qualify into the Corporate department as a newly qualified solicitor on 15 September 2015.
