I was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Scotland in August 2013 and became fully qualified in July 2014.

At Thompsons, I provide advice on a wide range of private client matters, including obtaining Confirmation (the Scottish equivalent of Probate), Guardianship and Intervention Orders, Powers of Attorney, preparation of Wills, Estate Planning and the administration of Trusts and Executries. I regularly appear in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland in connection with Guardianship and Intervention Orders.

I am currently a member of Solicitors for Older People Scotland.

Previous Employment

Experience

I enjoy working closely with families during very difficult times, such as the loss of capacity or death of a loved one. I pride myself on being approachable, accessible and fully sympathetic to each client’s situation, while always offering pragmatic advice in a timely manner.

I have experience in working with clients affected by dementia; I have been included onto Alzheimer’s Research UK’s list of solicitors with experience of clients affected by dementia.

I was admitted as a Notary Public in 2015
