Stephen is a Partner and Head of the Family team. He has specialised in family law for 20 years. He works extensively on divorce, finances on relationship breakdown and children issues.
Stephen is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Advanced Family Law and Children Panel Accreditation Schemes and is a liaison officer for the Ipswich Collaborative Lawyers Group. He is trained in Collaborative Law and is particularly interested in child abduction, domestic and international issues.
Stephen also periodically advises on potential and current cases which come before the International Criminal Court and was group leader of the Centre for Foreign Policy Analysis' (CFPA) monitoring mission to Sudan in 2009 and 2010 and a member of the all party monitoring mission to southern Sudan in 2011. He has also advised on issues relating to the end of the civil war in Sri Lanka.
Stephen has just advised and successfully negotiated a financial settlement which involved assets of in excess of £100 million.
