Appearing at Court of Appeal representing the claimant in James v Wright, a Court of Appeal case concerning PPI payments received by a supervisor of an IVA following the completion and issue of a certificate of completion from the former supervisor.
Acting for a minority shareholder who had been excluded from a business in obtaining value for his shareholding, and pension fund. Negotiating and drafting the share sale agreement.
Acting for a business owner for a chain of public houses in establishing proprietary estoppel and enforcement of loss of profits claim against a brewery landlord following serious dilapidations and disrepair of a property where a lease had not been executed.
Acting for a manufacturer in a large multi-party action defending a product liability claim, including a counter-action brought against a supplier. The case was heard at the technology and construction court. The case was high value but also had a great significance within the industry.
