Griffin Law

I am a litigator and I work for Griffin Law. As a firm Griffin Law only deal with disputes. We are a niche litigation practice.

I specialise in commercial litigation and therefore I principally deal with disputes between companies and businessman. Whether those disputes are in relation to millions of pounds or thousands of pounds I can still assist. Most cases are simple breaches of contract however I have experience in dealing with fraudulent misrepresentations and misstatements, mistake, undue influence and duress. Within this ambit of experience includes director and shareholder disputes.

Within the commercial practice I also have experience dealing with insolvency matters from simple bankruptcy and winding up petitions to defending and prosecuting claims on behalf of office holders pursuant to Sections 212 (misfeasance), 214 (wrongful trading), 339 (undervalue transactions) and 423 (defrauding creditors) of the Insolvency Act.

Regulatory Defence is an area of law that I am very interested in. I have experience in defending actions brought by HMRC, SRA, FCA, GLA, ICO and ICAEW to name but a few. If you are being investigated and you need somebody to support and fight for you then I would be more than happy to assist.

I pride myself on being a tenacious litigator but still maintaining the goals of the client. Strategy is key to success in litigation and therefore tactics must be discussed and decided upon. I like to win in court but frankly if my client has achieved what they set out to do then that is the benchmark for success.
