Coventry, United Kingdom
Educated at the The John Hampden Grammar School, I went on to study law at Bristol Polytechnic and trained as a solicitor in High Wycombe. I then qualified in 1993 and joined the firm in 1997 and became a Partner in 2006.
I have practiced exclusively in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution and have litigated virtually every type of case through all levels of court and within alternative dispute resolution processes.
Within litigation, my particular areas of specialism are litigation arising out of mortgage agreements, possession of land, probate and trust disputes, professional negligence and land disputes concerning easements and restrictive covenants.
I see litigation and dispute resolution, whatever the subject matter as a skill in itself, requiring the collation of evidence, particularly documentary evidence at an early point and applying the tactical advantage of being well prepared to securing an effective resolution of a case.
Outside of work, I live with my wife and daughter in Solihull and interests include gardening, reading and occasionally keeping fit.
