I have worked at Buckles Solicitors since 1997 handling all aspects of divorce and separation as well as doing preventative work with cohabitation contracts and prenuptial agreements. I particularly enjoy working with clients involved in farming and family run businesses, where solutions need to be found for all family members involved in the business enterprise. I also have a real interest in dealing with international clients’ cases involving cultural diversity.
I am a trained Collaborative Lawyer who aims to help couples reach an agreement on how assets should be divided in a civilised way without the stress of going to Court. In addition, I am a trained family mediator. I use my experience to guide and assist couples to explore options that work for both partners. I also have extensive experience in Court as well as dealing with more complex cases and high net worth individuals.
My style is to listen and adapt my approach and advice to the client’s circumstances and wishes. I fight my client’s corner vigorously but in a non-confrontational way, which I find is more effective at achieving the best outcome.
